Excel Fitness Studios is a private fitness studio where our team of professionals combines training and nutrition to deliver a fun and community-focused service. We aim to help you improve your fitness by optimising your workout and nutrition. We believe in sustainability and lifestyle improvements over quick fixes.
Having said that, you probably read a similar text numerous times before. You may wonder “what makes them different?”
First of all, we prepare everything with our client’s happiness in mind; most of the products and systems have been developed based on the feedback from our members. In fact, we regularly send anonymous feedback forms to tailor our packages to suit you best.
Secondly, we share combined 20 years of experience in the industry. Jake has worked as a trainer to Olympians and world’s best tennis players while Sophie has been a nutritionist for Leinster Rugby, Connacht Rugby and numerous county teams in GAA. We hold numerous degrees in Sports Science, Sports Therapy, Performance Coaching and Nutrition. You are in good, and highly qualified, hands when you join Excel Fitness Studios.
We value your time. You must be extremely busy and for that reason we developed a system that allows you to do a fantastic workout in 45 min. Nutrition? You can do it all remotely and our educational sessions are delivered remotely too!
Monthly check-ins. We not only take your measurements, we adjust your programme based on your progress but also constantly changing life circumstances. Do you work shifts and these recently changed? Have you been travelling with work? It all matters and we make sure to provide you with a plan for any of these circumstances.

Hi! My name is Jake
I am the founder of Excel Fitness Studios, dedicated to helping individuals achieve their fitness and health goals through strength and conditioning. With a BSc in Sports Therapy and an MSc in Performance Coaching, I have worked with elite athletes, including world number ones in tennis. My passion lies in applying science-backed training methods to optimise performance, prevent injuries, and support overall well-being. Whether you’re an athlete or just starting your fitness journey, my goal is to empower you to reach your full potential.
